Q: What does your company do and how long has it been in operation?
A: CGM provides strategy development, cost management and lifeline compliance/subsidy optimization support to wireline/wireless service providers.

Q: To what do you attribute your company’s success in the communications industry? 
A: For 14 years, CGM’s strategic guidance has enabled many of our clients to grow exponentially through a combination of new product/market development and cost reduction.

Q: What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced in the marketplace?
A: The regulatory arena often provides the most interesting challenges for us, as guidelines are regularly changed or re-interpreted, and rules can vary greatly from state to state.

Q: What do you see as your greatest challenges going forward?
A: Helping legislators and staff at the FCC and the states to understand that they’d be far better off enforcing the rules already in place, rather than plodding through the time-consuming and expensive process of creating new ones.

Q: What have been some of your company’s most recent achievements (new customer wins, new service/product deployment, etc.)?
CGM recently cracked the 50-client mark as its Lifeline Support Service has been embraced by wireline and wireless service providers that are targeting the low-income, prepaid markets.

Q: Why is it important for your company to be a COMPTEL member?
A: COMPTEL provides an aggregated voice and an intelligent lobbying strategy through which to address key aspects of the FCC’s plan to reform the Universal Service Fund, and the low income program in particular.
