A: Cbeyond Communications, a privately held, Atlanta-based Managed Services Provider is a leader in the emerging local voice and broadband services market and manages a 100% Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), facilities-based, private, local phone network. Using VoIP and a Cisco-powered network, Cbeyond delivers to small business customers in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Denver and Houston an integrated package of high quality local and long distance telephony services, high-speed Internet access and Internet-based applications for about the same price that small businesses typically pay for local and long distance service alone.

A: Cbeyond has leveraged VoiIP to build a next generation telephone company and has become a model for the competitive telecommunications industry from a sales, technology, financial and regulatory perspective. The company maintains a disciplined focus on their small business market of 4-200 employees.

• Over 15,000 customers as of March 2005
• VoIP network processes nearly 2 million calls per day
• Customer churn rate of less than 1% per month
• 100% of customers are billed on-line and > 30% pay on-line
• Launched BeyondVoice with SIPconnect, the First Integrated VoIP and Broadband Internet Service Designed Specifically for Direct IP Peering with IP PBXs in February 2005
